In school we did projects on the national park of our choice. I picked Zion National Park. Did you know the Pauite Indians were afraid of I-u-goone (Zion Canyon) and refused to stay there after dark. By the way Zion Canyon is not my canyon I made out of clay it's a red slot canyon called Red Cave. (My canyon made out of clay not the actual Zion Canyon.)Sophie

Thanks for telling me about your project. The pictures were just not enough for me. Maybe you can visit Zion National Park when you go to BYU, you know the real one in Utah :)
ReplyDeletei learned some new things about zion's park (i especially enjoyed seeing the pronunciation guide.) have you visited zion's, sophie? my oldest two were there when they were toddlers, it would be fun to go visit again. your sculpture is very realistic; it really looks like a canyon that you would see at Zion's.
