German Food

IMG_0905

We went to the Fayette City Cafe today for some german food. Elizabeth had some pork, I had a Jaeger Schnitzel and the kids just their typical run-of-the-mill kiddie food (grilled cheese sandwich and chicken tenders). Elizabeth and I also shared a baked brie, which was pretty darn good. My Schnitzel was an outrage. I guess the cook must have turned the heat up a bit too much. Elizabeth's pork was nothing to write home about either.

Nothing compares to some authantic German food, cooked by real Germans (this cook was from Trinidad, but we heard she cooks some great carribean food), wife being the obvious exception, of course.

I think I see a trip to "La Petit Auberge" in Atlanta on the horizon, but this time without the kids! Now that's some yummy German food!
